My partner Jeannie Heroux of” The Shaman Circle of Cape Cod” and I have been bringing folks on spirit nature walks. What I find most fascinating is how the collective energy fields within our groups, shift and become more cohesive as the walk continues. We begin with a short guided meditation focused on bringing our attention into the body and deepening our breath. The spirit walk is done in mindful silent manner.I have noticed that the first 20 minutes or so before my mind chatter begins too slow down give way to my deeper self. We will stop at particular places to view our surroundings-all the while the energy is building. This immersion into the collective energy field feels very communicative though we are in silence. Our surroundings become more detailed and vibrant. We become more and more as one. Separate yet blended. At times we are walking in unison.
Nature is my number one path to feeling aligned, joyful and in communication with my higher self – spirit. Watching this alignment occur as a collective is really extraordinary, organic and deep. As the walk continues we strengthen the energy body of the group and it begins to feel palpable, vibrating with my intensity. I have worked with energy in many ways-on the body-off the body, with plants, trees and animals. At these times I will feel a magnetic pull and often have a flash of intuitive knowing.
The gathering of collective energy is both simple and profound. It is extremely healing; opening hearts, igniting creative flow and heightened spirituality. It is reminiscent of children at play and in the magic of the moment.
